The Village of Newtown, one of Cincinnati's quaint and lesser known areas, a secret gem placed amongst our rolling green hills, was commissioned by Doscher's Candy Company. Doscher's is home to the country's oldest continuously running candy factory, right in the heart of Newtown!
This painting, which was commissioned in November of 2017 and completed in December of 2018, was made possible with generous support from Doscher's in order to capture Newtown's unique charm and it's history, while also highlighting its flourishing small businesses.
